“Everything starts with taking the first step.”
Aslı; What a meaningful sentence," she sighed.
Sometimes you write something for pages and it doesn't
make any sense, sometimes you fit the world into one sentence. The more you
think about what comes out of it. It opens like the petal of a rose, you can’t
get enough of looking at it.
One sentence suddenly brought her to her senses. With that awareness she got more concious. She had a situation that she couldn’t understand for a long time. She didn’t care of herself and let herself go as if she were being blown wherever the wind was blowing. On the other hand, she was disturbed by this situation. She didn't know exactly what to do. She was aware that she had to do something. At least she knew she couldn't continue like this.
How quickly the years passed. But her real problem
wasn't about the years.
It was about the image she saw in the mirror. She was
having trouble with the weight she had gained over the years. It didn't bother
her that much before.
Yes, she was a little overweight but that was not noticeable. It didn’t disturb her. She could ignore it because she loved eating so much. But now, this situation was starting to bother her more. It had been years since she bought something she liked on store window?). Because the problems she was experiencing were no longer physical. She started to have problems other than not being able to find things suitable for her body. She was now getting tired more quickly. Even if she walked a little or climbed stairs, she had difficulty breathing. She was stuck, despite her young age. She was starting to feel unhappy now.
So how could she give up when she loved eating so
much?
Whenever she decides to go on a diet;
- I'm starting this Monday! She was saying.
Somehow, she was being offered her favorite meals that
week. Or maybe it was a friend's birthday, an event, a company dinner. In every
situation, there was an excuse that could cause her to eat and the longer she
lingered, the worse she felt.
Her morale was getting worse due to her indecision and
going back and forth.
All her attempts ended just as she began. One way or another, she wanted to lose this weight. She was also aware that she had to make a choice.
A friend had recently recommended a dietitian to her.
She stared at herself in the mirror for a longtime and couldn’t go on like
this. No matter what, she was so determined now. It was time to implement what
she had been thinking about for a while. She made her decision and she had to
do whatever she could to get rid of these kilos, she had to take action
immediately.
Without postponing, otherwise she could give it up at any moment.
Isn't life like that?
Shouldn't we give up something else to achieve something?
Every decision is also a give up of something!
o 1.People don’t want to give up what they have, at the same time they want to obtain what they want. But life, on the contrary, it forces you to give up something while achieving something else. It’s like giving the effort to study to pass the university exam. You had to give up long weekend trips and parties for a while.
o It's like giving up being single when you decide to
get married. Even if we want it or not, the scene changes, the players change.
Now we have a different role.
We become a married person, not a single person.
o When we become a mother or father, there are changes
in our lives,
first of all, our sleep hours changes. The time spent at home begins to differ.
o When we want to lose weight, it's like saying goodbye to sweets. We need to reconsider our food choices.
The target must be CLEAR.
We make a decision and move forward according to that
decision. The important thing is to decide and being CLEAR in this direction. A
person should be able to be sure that his desire will be beneficial to him.
It's not just the desire to lose weight.
When a person’s desire to eat sweets increases, her
desire to lose weight decreases
It's like deciding when we get into the elevator, will you go up or will you go down? When a person determines a direction for himself, it flows like a stream.
Because every decision is also a giving up...
